Shipwreck - helping you understand the male mind!

Who’s Shipwreck?

Shipwreck - Your Guide to the Male MindShipwreck is your slightly more than average fluoro-green shirted male.

He was born Fremantle, Western Australia, was brought up in a good family with both an older and younger sister, a mother whom he is very close to, and a father who taught him a lot about business and about life.

Shipwreck spent most of his schooling years in Perth and Sydney, moving house 12 times in as many years, and changing schools almost as frequently as his father’s jobs moved interstate.  This gave him the opportunity to meet a plethora of new faces and quickly adapt to new friendship environments.

For the first 12 years of his life he attended church weekly, learning about Christianity, God, Jesus, Noah (captain of probably the most famous shipwreck in the world), the 3 Wise Men, and a variety of other rather interesting characters.

Between the ages of 13-16 he attended the School of Philosophy in Perth where he learnt the art of meditation, observation, self-reflection and stillness.  Weekly classes were run where he would be the youngest in the classroom by at least 20 years most nights, but nonetheless took in what was on offer by way of learning from others’ experiences.  To this date he believes some of the best education he received was found in these classrooms.

As schooling came to an end and females fell on the scene he became fascinated by their motivations, their way of thinking, and their innate ability to outsmart males.  He was particularly fascinated by their ability to effect ones emotions, and their lack of understanding as to how males think.

He formed the opinion that the emotional nature of females is difficult (or virtually impossible) to change, and therefore males must work around this.  The workaround is achieved not just by understanding females better, but in helping give females a better understanding of male logic, which in turn, lessens the emotional effect of males actions (which are often misunderstood by females).

Shipwreck progressed through his tertiary education at an elite private boys school in Perth and went on to study at university for 6 years.  During this time he looked into scientology, psychology, and above all observed the reactions of females around him - both those of various friends and partners over the years.

At age 17 Shipwreck ran full day training sessions for teams of people in Australia on marketing education gained from his time spent in the United States and Europe, and has since been invited to present at speaking engagements internationally.  He ran his own business between the ages of 19-23 which enabled him the freedom to learn more about human relationships and the interaction of people within the business community.

Shipwreck’s passion has remained in writing and speaking throughout his life - from weekly presentations to 400+ people at age 12, to writing proposals, reports, advice, and even Shipwreck’s Blog, his motivation for life lies in touching people on a personal basis through bettering their understanding of the workings of life.
