Mortgage Watchdog - Bank Statement Checker

» By Shipwreck - Mar 29th, 2008

Off the subject of how guys think for a second, I received a letter from my bank the other week that said I had a certain amount available for redraw in my home loan.  So I called them up and they said that nothing was available - confusing!?!

Mortgage Watchdog

So I came across the program Mortgage Watchdog.  It basically checks your statements for any errors made by the bank.  Mortgage Watchdog is quite inexpensive considering the money that can be saved.

I was impressed with the Mortgage Watchdog website and the testimonials, particularly the amount of money that can be saved by using the bank statement checker tool.

You do have to do a bit of work in entering your bank statements into Mortgage Watchdog, but otherwise it’s simple to use.

If you are intersted in seeing how much you can save (e.g. $20 a month over the life of a 30 year loan can be tens of thousands!), I suggest you check out their website - http://www.nett-profit.com/app/?af=749229

  1. I checked out Mortgage Watchdog a few months ago and it has saved me a five figure sum when I checked my bank statements for errors. Mortgage Watchdog was delivered to my door very quickly and I found it extremely easy to use. I would recommend that anyone considering using Mortgage Watchdog give it a go…worst case you end up $250 richer from using Mortgage Watchdog but not finding any errors in your statements.
