He’s well read, and a great passion of his is understanding the mind, how it works, and how actions can be used to effect the human mind.
Isn’t a lot of this just common sense?
It sure is! Though, reading it re-enforces in your own mind what you might already notice, but not fully understand. Most of these articles are based on practical experience and sitting back and thinking about what caused reactions in certain situations.
What makes Shipwreck the authority on relationship advice?
He certainly doesn’t claim to be the be-all and end-all of relationship advice, but we’re sure you will find some very useful and insightful information that will help you better understand males. After all, at what point does one become an ‘authority’ on anything?
How many girls has Shipwreck been out with?
Let’s just say he can count the number of dates on more than two hands, the number of relationships can be counted on two hands, and the number of serious long-term relationships on one.
How does Shipwreck make money out of Shipwreck’s blog?
In an ideal world he’d like to make 5 cents for every time he brought a smile to someone’s face. The reality is however, that this is not possible. He simply wants to get worldwide recognition for his writing, his inspiration, and create a following of girls & guys that love to read his work. After all….isn’t this similar to what Oprah Winfrey does?
What are Shipwreck’s qualifications?
He has a double-degree in life and living, and a masters in thought. This is what he thrives on. He also has a Bachelor of Laws degree (to be completed in 2008) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree…though he reckons these don’t really count when it comes to figuring out how people’s minds work.
Why doesn’t he talk about sex more?
Shipwreck personally believes that there are so many websites, books & articles available on sex, that covering it in excrutiating detail on his blog is not necessary. Keeping the articles in good spirit, above the belt, and with more of a love than lust focus is his priority. Occassionally he will delve into hot topics such as ‘first date sex’, ‘how to please your partner in the bedroom’ etc., but he won’t be going into all the raunchy details. Sex is a personal thing and it all starts with the mind, which is what Shipwreck’s Blog focuses on.
